VICTORIA HOSPITAL
19834 Colour prints of Victoria Hospital shortly before demolition. (a) White painted brick and iron building with dark grey woodwork, guttering etc. Paint has started to wear off red brickwork of bay window and adjoining wall. Blinds are drawn on all windows and garden is unkempt. (b) View of entrance steps and front door of original house. Extension to building visible on right. (c) Building almost obscured by shrubs and small trees. (d) Steps to another entrance. Verandah obscured by shrubs, and bay window by tree.
Victoria Hospital was a 'C' Class hospital located on junction of Bay & Riley Roads and Victoria Avenue, Claremont.
