Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1887 was celebrated at many places in Australia. This Western Australian version depicts the Perth Town Hall. George Shenton (Jr.) served as Chairman of Perth City Council from 1876-77; and as mayor in 1880-84 and 1886-88.
