1917Postcard and envelope: a) view of the corner of York Street and Prince Street, Colombo. There is a large building on the r/h side which incorporates an enclosed walkway for pedestrians. Smaller buildings are shown on the left. There are several motorcars and an assortment of carts drawn by animals. Two men wearing tropical clothing lean against a large post in the middle of the intersection. There is a message addressed to 'Dot' from 'Bob' on the reverse sent while at sea on 12/3/1917.
b) Envelope with Australian Y.M.C.A. with the A.I.F. logo addressed to Miss D. Newman.
