MINCER
c. 1925This mincer belonged to E Nelthorpe of 9 Union Street, Subiaco. It was used mainly for mincing fresh and cooked meat, but also for some vegetables and dried fruits. The mincer was attached to the edge of a bench or table, and food placed in the top opening, the handle turned manually, and the minced food extruded through the holes into a bowl. On the handle is printed "Bolinder's, Sweden", and on body of mincer are words "Top Speed."
