LAMP: RED HURRICANE LAMP, 'FEUERHAND'

Overview

Hurricane lamp painted black with red chimney, chimney guard and cap plus handle. The cap can be adjusted by means of small wooden handle. On front are the trade mark "Feuerhand" and patent number 327 with a hand holding fire set in between. 'Made in Germany" in raised letters like the rest, appears above. The fount cap and wick adjuster both have the same trademark. Used by Subiaco Municipality as a warning sign at roadworks.
