“We, the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens of the City of / Albany, in appreciation and recognition of your association / with this Municipality, do confer upon / The Commanding Officer, Officers and Sailors of / Her Majesty’s Australian Ship / Albany / Freedom of Entry to the City of Albany / And thereby the right, privilege, honour and distinction of / marching through the streets of Albany with swords drawn, / bayonets fixed, drums beating, bands playing and colours / flying in full regalia. / In witness whereof we have caused our common seal to be / hereunto affixed this 21st Day of June, two thousand and eight / in pursuance of a resolution unanimously passed by the City of / Albany on the 17th Day of June, two thousand and eight.”
