Single-sided hand-written note addressed to Archdeacon LOUCH to advise NOK of the death of two Albany soldiers whilst serving in the AIF,1st World War, Private C.M. WHEELER and Private Walter ROBINS.

Historical information

Handwritten note received by Archdeacon Thomas Steane LOUCH, St John's Church, York Street, Albany from the Army Chaplin General. LOUCH carried the note to the two (2) mentioned soldier's parents homes to advise them of the death of their son’s. The parents of Water ROBINS requested to keep the note.
