1940 Nazi Germany 5 Reichspfenning Coin
1940Circular zinc coin with signs of corrosion with blackened and white colouring. Struck on the front with the Nazi symbol of a right facing eagle with a swastika enclosing a wreath held in its talons. The reverse is struck with the denomination 5, with a mint mark ‘A’ below between two oak leaves, and German text along the inner rim. Has a reeded edge.
Second World War Nazi Germany 5 Reichspfenning coin dated 1940 with Berlin "A" mintmark found while metal detecting at Binalup / Middleton Beach, Albany in July 2022. Over 174million of these coins were minted by the Berlin Mint.
