Overview

Black and white copy of sepia photograph. A studio portrait of brothers Ivor and Tudor as well as sister Doris, all children of Mr and Mrs T. Rhys of Coolgardie, Western Australia.
Ivor is wearing a knee-length striped smock with a large white collar and a white hip level sash with a button. He wears dark long socks and dark shoes with ankle straps. Tudor wears a striped long sleeved shirt with white sailor collar and a vest shows underneath. He has dark knickerbocker pants, and dark socks and shoes with straps. Doris wears a plain long-sleeved frock with a white lace pinafore over the top and gathered at the neck. She has a ribbon in her long hair and has long dark socks or stockings with dark ankle-strap shoes.
The studio background has lacy curtains and carved cane furniture.

Historical information

A studio portrait of brothers Ivor, Tudor and sister Doris - children of Mr and Mrs T. Rhys of Coolgardie, Western Australia.
Ivor became Head Boy at Perth Modern School. He died in the First World War. Tudor was killed while at school in Victoria. Doris became Mrs L. Parks and has lived in Subiaco since 1924.
