Front: Photograph of Mr Gus Roe, a middle-aged gentleman with a greying moustache and receding hairline. He wears a light-coloured uniform with a Mandarin collar and metal buttons. A thin cord runs through the second button to a breast pocket. A watch chain is slipped through a buttonhole and the watch (?) inserted through a slit in the side of the pocket. The uniform indicates that Mr Roe may have been a steward on a train or ship. He was married to Mary Newman
Reverse: 'Mr Roe was married to Mary Newman.'
