TOOL, THREAD CUTTER
This Clover circular metal thread cutter, with blades hidden between two discs, was made in Taiwan, and purchased in WA in early 2000s, at a time when scissors were prohibited on planes. This was a result of the terrorist destruction of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre in New York on September 11, 2001.
The cutter, a gift to the donor, was stored in a delicate organza bag with hand embroidered shadow work and a silk ribbon hanger.
