Megan Holmes Memorial Trophy
This trophy is titled:
The Megan Holmes
Memorial Trophy
When Megan passed away, this trophy was donated by her husband, Geoff, and first presented in 1982 to the 18 hole winner of a particular Stableford round included in the annual fixtures. Funding was also donated to provide an annual financial award to the winner.
In 2022 there was a considerable number of 9 hole competitors and it was agreed by the family to issue an award from the existing float in the ensuing years to the winning 9-hole competitor as well.
The trophy is one of a pair of antique vases. Megan's daughter Dawn possesses the other vase.
The winners' names are engraved on individual rectangular shaped plates on each of the three tiers.
