Beryl Nicholls Trophy

This trophy is titled:

M.G.G.C. Beryl Nicholls Memorial Trophy

This perpetual trophy was donated by the Nicholls family and first presented in 2016 to the 18 hole winner of a particular Stableford round included in the annual fixtures. Funding was also donated to provide an annual financial award to the winner.

In 2022 there was a considerable number of 9 hole competitors and it was agreed by the family to issue an award from the existing float in the ensuing years to the winning 9-hole competitor as well.

Beryl Nicholls was a Foundation member (1968) and served in various positions on the committee, including handicapper for a number of years.

The trophy has a teardrop shaped glass on top of a black enamel/plastic 80mm base which is mounted on a wooden base. This glass shape contains a smaller pink coloured teardrop shape and bubble-like features around the bottom half.

The names of the winners are engraved on separate shields around the base.
