On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with headings "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "KODAK" at the top and bottom and the words “AUSTRAL” on the sides. This square marks the position to put a stamp.
On the back of the postcard handwritten in blue ink is "Mr W.J. Filmer Mrs P.P. Bolto (nee Filmer) Berger's Buildings Mr Eric Forbes" and below this is "Taken in 1929 soon after change of premises. Building in photo now (1971) Ogdens Pharmacy".
On the back of the postcard is purple stamped words which read "W.A. HISTORICAL SOCIETY KATANNING BRANCH".
The building in1971 was Ogden's Pharmacy, In 1981 it was Ezywalkin' Shoe Shop
