Mug-shaped metal 1/2 pint milk measure with a flat strap-like handle which stands up straight and ends in a wide open hook. '1/2PT' is stamped on its side, but there are no other manufacturer's marks. This utensil was used to scoop milk from the milkman's can when milk was home delivered.
