Overview

Square block of wood that has been naively hand carved in bas relief. It shows an angel with one elbow resting on a skull and the other hand resting on an hourglass. To The left of panel is carved "Amiens / LA / CATHEDRALE / MONUMENT / DE / L' ANGLE / PLEUREURl ". Carved beneath the angel is "AMIENS FRANCE / THE CRYING ANGEL ". To the right of panel "THE / GRAND / ALTER ". {sic} . Metal piece at centre top with which to hang it.
