Laying the Katanning Hospital Foundation Ston
c. 1924A sepia photograph of a group of officials standing on a raised platform and on the ground a crowd of people dressed in coats and hats. There are flags from different countries flying on each corner of the platform. The photograph is mounted on cream cardboard.
Both the Western Australian Government and Katanning District contributed to the cost of building the Katanning Hospital, the cost was £13,000. The official opening was in October 1925. The stone was laid by the Hon. A McCallum M.L.A.
