On the photograph are hand written in black ink the names of the people. The back row from left to right are: 'Humphreys, Biles, Bumjers, Painter, Unterden, Mitchell, Anderson, Bumfert, Saggers, Cobb, Bechurchlt, illegible, Jones, Unknown, Woods.
The front row from left to right are: 'Thompson, Mathews, Sapers, Thomson, Crouch, Beltops, Larty.

Underneath the photograph hand written in black ink is 'Flashlight Katanning Minstrels Sep 18th 1913'

On the mount of the photograph on the right hand side in yellow printing is 'H C Biltoft, IDEAL STUDIO KATANNING WEST AUS.'
