1905The black and white photograph shows a group of Federal visitors at the Boulder Racecourse seated in the grandstand. It shows the major concentration of the group (with Hon. H. Daglish seated on left of Sir John Forrest in front row), arranged in three rows in front of viewing platform. There are three women wearing large hats and long dresses in the main group. Behind the group are trees and shrubs. The remainder of the company, including women and children, are assembled on steps leading up to the platform and leaning over balustrade of the balcony. All of the women at this event are wearing large hats and light coloured clothing. The empty grandstand rises above entire group.
