Sepia photograph
Front: The photograph shows the Royal car passing under the photographer's vantage point. The car is open and the Duke of York (saluting) and the Duchess of York (waving) are sitting in the back seat. There is a uniformed chauffeur and another man, wearing a top hat, in the front seat. The black car has a flag mounted at the front of the bonnet. The side of the street is lined with people, standing behind barriers. The shops that stand behind them are: W.A. Hale Broom and Co, Estate Agents; Ba and & Buchan and H.C. Levy, Tailor. Flags have been hung from the upper-level windows. At the right hand, the bonnet of another car can be seen.
