Front: The photograph taken from an upper level, shows a group of mounted soldiers passing along the street, followed by a motor vehicle. Two other riders and further vehicles can be seen in the background. The length of the street is thronged with people standing behind barriers. In the centre of the image, is the large building of 'The Economic Stores Ltd' and next door is the 'Bargain Store for Men'. Flags have been hung from the buildings.
