The girls are wearing white dresses and long black socks, with sashes over the shoulder, and are carrying flags and banners. A young girl 'Flossie' is in Scottish costume of kilt with a tartan cloak attached to a shoulder with large brooch. The cart is decorated with palms and streamers. Various other individuals standing around including two little boys, one bare-foot and wearing shorts and a hat, the other in shorts, socks and boots. J.
