Overview

A coloured photograph taken from Rowland Street facing South towards Bagot Road. On the left side of the road there are small bushes in front of a brick building with three glass windows. There is one street lamp, as well as a truck carrying a large metal cylinder. On the right side of the road the fencing of houses is visible. The houses closest have white brick and white metal fencing. There is a grey car along the right side of the road, also facing South. There are trees in the background of the photo. On the bottom right corner of the photograph, there is a red date stamp which reads '27 1 '87'
Reverse: A printed label reads 'UNDERGROUNDING OF POWER, ROWLAND/DENIS, 27 JANUARY 87'. The digits '91' had been typed onto and subsequently erased from the label preceeding '87'. The imprint of these digits remain visible.
