Overview

A coloured photograph taken from Denis Street, facing South towards Bagot Road. On the left side of the road, a large wooden street pole can be seen. Past this wooden pole there is a yellow pole with a red sign, and also three metal street lights. On the left side of the image there is a man in a blue shirt and blue shorts standing on a ladder to work on a roof. There is a white and yellow car parked on the right side of the road facing North. Further down the road there is a white car parked on the right side of the road which is also pointing North. At the end of the road a red bricked building with a white roof can be seen. On the bottom right corner of the photograph, a red date stamp reads '27 1 '87'.
Reverse: A printed label reads 'UNDERGROUNDING OF POWER, ROWLAND/DENIS, 27 JANUARY 1987'. A handwritten inscription has been added to this label which reads 'facing school'.
