PHOTOGRAPH (COPY): SUBIACO WAR MEMORIAL - UNVEILING
1923Copy of sepia postcard which features a photograph of the Subiaco War Memorial on the day it was unveiled (25 November 1923).
The image shoes Rokeby Road with the tramlines at its centre and cars parked beside the kerbs. The Memorial is surrounded by a crowd of people who are blocking Rokeby Road. Two Norfolk Pines in Rankin Gardens are visible on the right, as well as a pointed roof which was probably that of the bandstand.
The reverse has a typed label as well as a stamp with 'West Aust 19 Oct 1985'.
