POSTCARD: SUBIACO WAR MEMORIAL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
1923Image: Black and white photograph of Subiaco War Memorial in its last stage of construction. The first timbers of the spire have been put up and the builder, F.E. Sedgley (in hat), and other workman are standing at the top with other workman looking through the opening where the clock would be placed. The tower is still surrounded by scaffolding. This photograph was printed in postcard form. The Memorial was unveiled on 25 November 1923, so this photograph was probably taken in the second half of 1923.
Reverse: The name and address of the photographer appear on the reverse, together with that of the builder, whose name and address are stamped in purple.
