PHOTOGRAPH: ROKEBY ROAD, SUBIACO, W.A

c. 1920
Overview

A sepia photograph copied from a postcard taken by C.F. White and published by Cadman of Subiaco gives a view of Rokeby Road. The tramlines are clearly visible in the middle of the gravel road. Several Victorian buildings with gables and verandahs are shown on the right.
The building in the right foreground has 'Drapery Emporium' painted above. The building also holds two large signs. The word 'Australian' is visible on the right and the sign facing the street advertises 'Drink Santos Wine'. A printed inscription in the top left corner states: 'Rokeby Road, Subiaco, W.A.' .
