A black and white photograph of six women dressed in Royal Australian Airforce uniforms and peak hats. Four of the women are standing and three women seated, the women in the centre front is well dressed in a fur coat with a corsage. The photograph is set in a narrow black wooden frame.

Historical information

The woman in the centre of the front row is Shirley Mason, whilst the woman to her right in the back row is Phyllis Jenner. Phyllis Jenner served as a cook in the second world war, her service number was 94749. Phyllis was born in the United Kingdom and came to Australia with her parents as a child. Phyllis lived in Woodanilling and Katanning.
