On the back of the photograph written in pencil at the top is 'MRS THOMAS HADDLETON FIRING FIRST SHOT ON OPENING OF GLENCOE RIFLE RANGE (ABOUT 15 MILE NE KATANNING) 1913' and in the middle '1913'.
At the bottom of the photograph in green texta is written 'J.C. HADDLETON'
