On the back of the photograph handwritten in black ink is "Old Badgebup. The left half of the house was built by WH Graham of 'Fairfield' Eticup in the late 70's and is where the man Watson known as Jim the Pig-man was murdered in 1883. The shed on the right was Graham's shearing shed and the remains of a press can be seen at the right hand corner. The property now belongs to Mr. E. Clegg whose house stands just about on the spot from which this photograph was taken."
