A sepia photograph of men and women playing hocky on a rough ground, in the background is a shed and a house, on the right hand side are two houses. The women are wearing long sleeved white blouses, long dark skirts (some are ankle length others are knee length). The men are wearing long sleeved striped pullovers and dark shorts to the knees. It appears to be the start of the hockey match as all players are watching the two centre players faceoff.
