Katanning Road Board camp
c. 1930 - 1939A black and white photograph of two teams of two draught horses pulling a cart and another metal cart. In the first team the man on the cart also has bags of material on the cart, the attached metal cart is low and is empty. In the second team, there are two men on the cart , there are metal tools on the cart and they are pulling a metal vehicle in which the front wheels are smaller than the back wheels and the wheels are smooth. There is a stone building behind the first team which is partly obscured by a tree and there is a metal shed behind the second team. Building in background, horses and wagons in foreground.

On the front of the photograph at the top of the photograph hand written in black ink is 'MID 1920's' and at the bottom hand written in red and black ink is 'Katanning Road Board Country Division near Rockwell Area'
On the back of the photograph hand written in blue ink is 'Katanning Roads Board Travelling Camp 1920s No 1' and stamped in purple ink is 'A. &J. COATE 21 South Coast Hwy. ALBANY W.A. 6330'
