Overview

The interior of a room which has three book cases lined against two walls and which are filled with books. There is a table in the centre of the room with two children seated at the table and one boy standing on the other side. There is a girl standing reading a book against the wall on the right hand side of the picture.

Historical information

This is a photograph of the opening day of the Eleanor Roberts Youth Library. The opening and dedication of the library took place at the Katanning Town Hall on Friday the 16th of November 1945.
