The building has a stucco façade with the name of the building and above this stucco and above the front entrance is a semi-circular decoration. There are three windows down the right hand side of the building and two chimneys. The car on the right of the picture has one man dressed in a suit and wearing a hat and he is looking directly at the photographer. The car in the centre is empty but there are three men standing behind the car who are also dressed in suits and wearing hats. The car on the left has two men sitting in the rear seat and two men in the front, the driver is talking to a man standing next to the car and is handing him an envelope.
At some stage the building housed the "Black Lantern" restaurant and currently in 2024 it is the "Paper Lace" business"
