c. 1907A sepia photograph of a brick house with a tin roof and bull nose verandah. The front fence is a wooden post and wire fence.
Danny built Ralston's house in Arbour St Katanning, he had 2 boys in 1905 working as a wheat sampler at Katanning Flour Mill. Then came to Tambellup on the Addis farm, 12 miles west of Tambellup. 1938 went off to Albany property near Kalgan River, apple orchard and cows, small home on about 2 acers of land, died 1967 sold the apple orchard 1955. He died at Gnowangerup hospital and is buried at Albany. Mr Bert Box had cottages in Emu Point then retired in Emu Point where I called, He is deceased, Elaine Hebson is daughter Moonies Hill 253021 'KATANNING DAYS ALBANY'. The attached pdf file came with the postcard.

On the back of the postcard is printed in black typed lettering "POST CARD" and underneath this line is two columns, the heading for the left column is "Write here for Inland Postage only." and the heading for the right column is "The Address to be written here".
On the back of the postcard hand written in blue ink is "Original home of D.A. Box Katanning W.A. Arbour St. 1907"
