The front cover shows images of small butterflies in all four corners. Between the top two butterflies is a drawing of two crossed tennis racquets surrounded by seven tennis balls. Below is the text: [Programme] above a fifth small butterfly. Below this is the text: [Armadale Tennis Club / 7th Annual BALL / Armadale Hall / Friday, August 6th, 1926 / Dancing from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. / C. HARAPEET / Hon. Sec. / Gents 4/6].
The rear cover has the text: [Griffin's Dance Orchestra / consisting of / Piano - J. GRIFFIN / Saxaphone (sic) - C. WOODGATE / Violin - V. HARCOURT / Banjo - D. MILLER] above a drawing of a harp.
The inside pages list the programme of events, printed in blue text. Nine dances are listed, followed by supper, then another 11 dances to conclude the evening.

Historical information

Armadale Hall was used for many functions in the 1900's. It was the centre of activity in the Armadale area. In 1926, one event it hosted was the annual Armadale Tennis Club Ball.
