At the bottom of the postcard handwritten in black texta is "St Rita's Convent School Katanning".
On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with headings "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "KODAK" at the top and bottom and the words “AUSTRAL” on the sides. This square marks the position to put a stamp.
On the back of the postcard handwritten in pencil is "probably 1926". In the bottom right hand corner is a circular black stamp with the words "KATANNING STUDIO" inside.
