PHOTOGRAPH: HOUSES AT 18 CHESTER STREET
Image: The house has twin gables covered in ivy. The verandah is supported by simply carved white posts, and shaded with canvas awnings. A small weatherboard room appears at the left of the verandah. The decorative frames and ledges of the windows can be seen in the shadows. Urns filled with flowering plants stand on either side of the steps leading up to the verandah.
Number 16 Chester Street owned by former Mayor Richard Diggins.
