PHOTOGRAPH (COPY): UNVEILING OF SUBIACO WAR MEMORIAL

Overview

The photograph features the unveiling of the Subiaco War Memorial. There is a group of men and women seated directly in front of the memorial, with the plaque unveiled. One man, standing in military uniform, without a hat, addresses the assembled crowd. A troop of soldiers and members of the public are grouped around the barricade surrounding the clock and seated in a wooden view stand on left-hand side of the image. The street behind the memorial shows two motor vehicles and a horse-drawn carriage parked. The houses in Hamersley Road are shown. The Society holds the negative.
