PHOTOGRAPH: UNVEILING OF SUBIACO WAR MEMORIAL

1923
Overview

The photograph features the unveiling of the Subiaco War Memorial. The greater clarity of detail reveals more fully the general public surrounding the memorial with the area immediately in front of the memorial barricaded off for the official group. The women are dressed mainly in white, with older women in darker colours - all wearing hats. The men are in dark suits. School boys are wearing hats. The houses on Hamersley Road are shown in the background. The Society holds the negative.
