MEDAL: O.B.E. WITH PLASTIC COVER, CITATION AND BOOK OF STATUTES
1967A) Medal O.B.E. Cross having the four arms of equal length, terminating in stylized fleur de lis. Centre of cross contains effigies of King George V and Queen Mary with "For God and the Empire" printed around. One point of the cross is topped by a crown which attaches to a grosgrain ribbon of red with thin silver grey border. This has a sterling silver spring clip attached to back. Obverse of medal has crown surmounting GBE.
B) Plastic covered, spring opening case with velvet lining to support medal - also "Instructions as to wearing Insignia". Lid of case has coat of arms and "Royal Mint" stamped on it.
