The Red Cliffs Football Club was formed in 1919, with returned soldiers playing the first games, leading to its official establishment in the Sunraysia region, with a formal announcement appearing around June 1920 in local papers, marking the beginning of the club that competes in the Sunraysia Football Netball League today.
