Two Handled Urn Shaped Vase
Large 2 handled ceramic vase. The neck and base of the vase are olive green with decorative gilt work which fade to cream at the central section which features a clematis floral design. The ornate handles fade between olive green at the ends and cream with gilt work at the centre. The inside neck has a pinkish tinge.
Barkers and Kent started manufacturing earthen ware at the Foley Pottery, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, England in 1898. The Foley Pottery closed in 1941 during WWII when production was moved to the WH Grindley pottery Woodlands. Barkers and Kent went into voluntary liquidation in September 1947.
