Overview

a) A 1945/1951 Instruction Manual for a Fordson Major Tractor. The manual is in poor condition and the cover and pages 1-12 are missing. The manual is very comprehensive and there would appear to be pages also missing after 104.
b) A red covered Spare parts list for a 1945/51 Fordson Major Tractor. The book is in poor, damaged and dirty condition but is very comprehensive. There are excellent exploded diagrams at the rear and spare parts are listed to coincide with the diagrams. The book looks well used.
c) A green covered paper Owners Manual for a Chevrolet LUV issued in 1975 and although found with farm papers is not relevant to Frank Twine. This is included as part of the Newgain Collection although the owners at that time were Yandie Holdings P/L.

Historical information

Associated with Shire of Toodyay accession numbers 2023 -1 to 21, Newgain Farm Diaries dating from 1909 to 1932. The property was managed by members of the Twine family.
Note that these documents may relate to Newgain Farm but not to Frank Twine, particularly the Chevrolet handbook which is dated 1975 being after Frank's death.
