One lady is in a flowered (shades of green yellow pink and white) skirt over which is a long flared top with mutton sleeve and lace trimmings. Also lace trimmings at the neck and front. A pink hat with white trim is upon her head and she is wearing glasses, earrings and white gloves. She is holding a brochure, the cover of which reads 'Toodyay Back to Schools'.
The other lady is in a long dress of blue and white print and lace trim and wide brimmed bonnet of same fabric. Her full face is not seen as she is facing the other lady.

Historical information

Part of the 'Back to Toodyay' week held between 4th &10th June 1979. On Friday 8th June a 'Back to Toodyay Schools' day was held, as well as a Farmers' Market, historical pageant and school historical displays.
