Centre to this coloured photo is a sideview of a man dressed in a regimental red coat which has wide white epaulettes. Black & white cuffs with gold coloured buttons. Upon his head is a high cone shaped aluminium shaded cap.
Surrounding him are men women and children in various dress. A slatted folding chair is to the right lower edge of photo.

Possibly part of the 'Back to Toodyay' week held between 4th &10th June 1979. On Friday 8th June a 'Back to Toodyay Schools' day was held, as well as a Farmers' Market, historical pageant and school historical displays.
