COMMEMORATIVE COIN : MEDAL FOR CENTENARY OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA 1929
1929Side one: brass coloured, design of a swan with partially extended wings in centre of medal. The swan is standing on a fluttering scroll inscribed with the words 'Cygnis Ins Ignis'. In a border around the outside edge of the medal is 'Centenary.Of.Western.Australia.1929'. On reverse is the head and shoulders of George IV facing left. The image extends nearly across the entire medal. In the space around his head is written 'Georgivs V Rex Et Ind: Imp:'. The medal is fairly well worn.
This medal was found in the collection with the same number as the 91.30 medal from the City of Subiaco Anniversary. It has therefore been renumbered.
