PHOTOGRAPH: SUBIACO PRIMARY SCHOOL GIRLS IN SUBIACO GARDENS

Overview

A black and white photograph of a group of girls from Subiaco Primary School wearing costumes. Most of the girls are dressed in white dresses, mob caps and bare feet, holding candles in candle holders.
Three girls dressed as fairies are seen in the front row. A girl dressed as a fairy, seen at centre front row, has both arms raised and is linking hands with the gilrs dressed as fairies either side of her.
Also in front row are girls dressed in dark coloured outfits covering them from head to toe and closely fitting caps. They are kneeling or seated on the ground. In the background are fir trees and a large palm tree. Several chimneys can be seen.
The donor has written the names of the girls on the reverse: Eileen Hart, Alvic Williams, Jean Truscott, Edna Gray, Annie Mahlberg, Rita Simmons, Mary Chalonet, Hilda Nicholls (Brownie), Jean Bull (Fairy), Muriel Meeds (Brownie), Enid Maddox (centre), Roma Fogarty (Fairy), Eileen Calcutt (Brownie), Olive M?
