Contextual information

Kevin was born on 29 September 1931 at Terang, Victoria. Died on 30 November 2009 in Bunbury, Western Australia.
He enlisted with the Royal Australian Navy in 1949 and served for 12 years, mostly as a Stoker Mechanic - this bag was issued to Kevin Michael Noonan (Service Number R/37307).

Between the late 1960s and early 1980s, Kevin and his wife, Cynthia, lived in Kaloorup and Jindong, with Kevin working as a farmhand.
