Historical information

The National Archives of Australia show a record for NOONAN KEVIN MICHAEL with Service Number R/37307 who was born on 29 Sep 1931 at TERANG VIC. This Kevin Noonan enlisted into the Royal Australian Navy in 1949 and served for 12 years mostly as a Stoker Mechanic. If this is the correct KM Noonan it is another story how this bag came into the collection at the Museum.
